Das neue Heft der Communications in Information Literacy (CIL) ist online: Band 9, Heft 2: http://www.comminfolit.org/index.php?journal=cil&page=issue&op=current. Ein Teilschwerpunkt des Heftes sind Reaktionen auf das neue Framework for Information Literacy der ACRL.
Die nächste ECIL (European Conference for Information Literacy) wird vom 10. bis 13. Oktober 2016 in Prag stattfinden. Themenschwerpunkt ist "Information Literacy in the Inclusive Society". Der erste CfP ist am 1. Dezember 2015 ergangen. Die Frist für das Einreichen von Vorträgen endet am 15. Februar 2016. Die von der Information Literacy Group der CILIP organisierte LILAC (Librarians' Information Literacy Annual Conference) findet vom 21. bis 23. März 2016 an der University College Dublin Library in Dublin (Irland) statt. Bis 8. Januar 2016 gibt es bei der Anmeldung einen Frühbucherrabatt.
